You have passed all the interviews and, hurray, the work is yours. But I wouldn’t be in a hurry to rejoice. After all, there is a probationary period ahead. Some people think it’s just a formality. In fact, this is a good opportunity not only for the employer to make sure that he was not wrong in choosing, but also to make sure that this is what you need.
The employer can set a number of tasks with which he will carry out verification. Some will not set tasks because the process is more important to them than the results, and will evaluate subjective things in general. You can roughly divide and say that in business they will be picky to results, and in the non-profit sector – to relationships, the atmosphere you create. Communication, teamwork will be more important. That’s how it is. Although I wouldn’t be so black and white categorical. It all depends on the employer’s management style. I would advise you to work on both results and communication because both aspects are important.
In this post, I want to encourage you more as an employee. Equally, as the employer looks at you, so you be vigilant to your workplace. Listen to yourself and ask yourself the following questions: is it mine and am I in my place? Do I show my strengths? Am I realizing and feeling the drive here?
This does not mean that everything will be smooth, that the mosquito does not undermine the nose. No, tasks can be difficult, and you are tired, communication in the team may be at the lapping stage. That’s not what I’m talking about.
ONE OF MY GOOD FRIENDS LIKES TO SAY: IF YOU THINK SOMETHING, IT DOESN’T, AND IT IS. LISTEN TO YOUR “SEEMS”.
We are often afraid to take risks. We are afraid of losing. Until you try, you don’t know for sure if it’s yours. So I encourage you to try and not be afraid to say no if you understand that it’s not yours.
Those who care about the opinion of others above all else are afraid to take risks. It is much more important to be happy and do what you like and work where your eyes will burn. Oprah notes nicely: “Passion comes when you do what you love. Passion is strength, it is the fuel you need to succeed. Find your passion and dedicate your life to its realization.”
